Anne-Laure's paintings reflect an inner faith, with their bright colors and deep messages shared through: Hope, Joy, Peace and Love!
Every time she paints, she lives intensely the adventure with her paintbrushes and transfers her being from within onto the canvas.
How is she inspired?
"Sometimes an idea for a painting comes through words or quotes, which find a deep resonnance in me; sometimes it comes through lived experiences or strong events in my life, I feel universal", Anne-Laure confides.
Each painting is the reflection of her soul, resulting from a close relationship between her life and her being at a given moment.
What kind of process does Anne-Laure use?
"I paint through what is inside of me and let it reflect onto my work", she says. Never sketching beforehand on her canvas; just this total desire to live an adventure, guided by her hand, her heart, her soul...
"Painting for me is a dialogue, and my canvases are these wonderful supports for and witnesses of a very strong experience of Communion."
She flows through her paintbrushes, her tools with energy, joy and concentration. She lets her being go without resistance during the process with total confidence.
Anne-Laure's paintings are very symbolic through the colors, shapes, compositions, textures, contrasts. They have several possible meanings and connections. They deliver us tremendous Impressions of her spiritual life.
"Sometimes really abstract my paintings hopefully let feel anybody free to experiment his own way, and find an echo through his own life, to compose his own music through these colors of my Soul".

She was born in France in 1973 (Clermont-Ferrand), and currently lives in Houston TX...
She grew up with a huge interest in Arts. Her studies in Art and Design have given her the opportunity to learn a lot and to explore many different materials in her own practice.
She has worked as a stylist and designer (graphic and textile design, packaging and interior design) in Strasbourg, Lyon and Monaco. She has always continued to paint, exhibiting and selling her watercolors from the age of 15 years.
She quilkly discovered how much she enjoyed creating and at the same time sharing her experience by teaching others:In 1996 she received her National degree of Art & Design teacher in Paris (CAPET d'arts Apliques). From that time, she has never stopped teaching adults, post-graduate students and young children with passion.
In 2002 Anne-Laure enthusuastically accepted to be the artistic Director and the Commissioner of an International Exhibition for the city Council of the Principality of Monaco, "art-Cactus-design", which was a great success. Her desire to challenge herself with new experiences always energizes her life.
A special event in 2001 connected her talents with a new element. She discovered a complete joy during a spiritual retreat, making cross her paintbrushes & colors with her deep faith...praticing prayer and creation at the same time.
From that day, she has continued to follow this specific way of processing, "meditating & painting" together. Close to the St Ignace's Spirituality, she recently finished a very deep experience during 30 weeks of retreat in 2010.
Commiting her talents to different projects, she shares her inspiration as painter, graphic designer, exhibit organizer, workshop teacher with such a personnal conviction and universal language.
She continues to draw and paint almost every day, and has been shown through several solo and group exhibitions in France and in Texas.
